You mean the freak injury of Vitali's punches exposing Solis' weak temple and **** defense?

Bottom line: If there was no punch Solis wouldn't have been KO'd. :yep

Solis went down from a punch to the temple & his fat ham hock leg twisted on the way down. It's Solis' job to get in fighting shape instead of eating like a pig..................

For a start why are you taking into consideration wins that he had before his retirement 7 / 8 years ago, surely results that long ago no longer hold any weight otherwise guys like Holyfield and RJJ would still be able to get into the rankings, secondly Vitali has beat a couple of overweight guys how is that P4P? The whole point of these rankings are to recognise fighters accomplishments in fights that have been deemed 50:50 or at least difficult in some way, i guess that is something that Klitschko fans dont understand, Wladimir has beaten some decent guys of recent like Haye and Chambers. Having given you the definition of p4p please tell me how you can rank Vitali over guys like Froch who has fought many 50:50 or difficult fights in the past 3 years?

Well Froch fights many 50/50 fight due to him not being an ATG thus making it much harder for himself than Vitali who more or less wins every round in each of his fights. Hope that helps.

That's your definition of p4p ratings, not the "official" def. :hi:

My def. gives more credit to sheer domination, not guys who need to "go to war" in an exciting match because they don't have the skill to beat the opponents without doing so. Pac is a dominant fighter for instance, at least up to his latest. Same for Floyd and Martinez. Both Klitschkos thoroughly dominate their comp. without sustaining hardly any damage or dropping any rounds. That's my personal definition of P4P rankings.

Is it his fault the opponents can't seem to get in shape or throw enough punches? Should VK only fight guys his height?

The post you're responding to was meant to cement Vitali's legacy, not his p4p ranking. The true haters here want to discredit those wins just as much as his recent ones.

Exactly. Klitschko fights aren't even close because they're that much better than everybody else. Picture how diversified the Heavys would be if both Klitschkos retired....................belts would be changing hands regularly. Chisora, Solis, Helenius, Povetkin, Arreola and Peter would be playing pass the belt.

Like Vitali needs to be ranked in a P4P list, he is a HEAVYWEIGHT champion of the word for Christ's sake. Top of the pyramid.

I can see Wlad there-but Vitali-what he done latey, TO DESERVE A TOP 10 SPOT-I CAN SEE "WINNING" BUT THE POINT IS THERE IS VERY LITTLE COMPETITION-GOTTA GET 10 IN A ROW IN THE WEAK A$$ HW DIVISION.

Vitali should show up for press conferences wearing a "I AM A MOTHER****ER" shirt ala Epic Beard Man.

JT wasn't ever phenomenal at HW. He was at middleweight, but he just never belonged above Cruiser. The other guys aren't better than the best the brothers have faced, in fact they are quite a lot worse.
