in a way its a fitting ending to halmichs pathetic career.

the always was the queen of hometown decisions.

baby doll reid also kicked her ass twice, but only got a draw and loss to show for it.

    and there were others.

I thought that the fight between Alesia Graf and the Mexican sweetie Esmeralda was far more of a robbery than Halmich - Finer...

i never saw a halmich fight (except for the two fights against the male guy stefan raab).

germany's reputation in terms of boxing robberies is way worse than it's actually the case, so come on.. this proves only one thing: no one here gives a **** about women's boxing. it gets hyped in the media sometimes, but no actual boxing fan is watching, so there's tons of robberies because it's just that nobody notices. hahahha, wild theory, but i guess it applies. who gives a **** about that? other than that the situation is alright nowadays. everybody to tell different, and there are quite some people still arguing against boxing in germany, is straight talking ****.
it's a joke what german belt holders fight to keep their titles, it's a ****ing shame. but at least they're normally beating the bums they're facing fair and square.

I havent seen it but why do I believe it?:huh

    :-(

All I have to say is someone better get neutral judges for the Povetkin vs Chambers fight on 1/26/08!

Every time I say that? I hear "Germany isnt the only place for bad decisions." and "Why do you say that?" etc. etc., its yet ANOTHER tale and report of BULL****!! Where the's smoke there's FIRE:fire I cant read German so from Box rec I gather its a Majority Decision for Halmich

I hope to see this fight. I am curious to see if indeed its a robbery. Anyone know if its being replayed.

I mean forriegn boxers without a German citizinship because the Germans tell themselves that guys like Klitchko and Abraham are actually German; but still deep down they know that Henry Maske is the GOAT.:nut

The serious newspaper Spiegel made a RBR could some of you Germans translate please:
    http://www.spiegel.de/sport/sonst/0,1518,520764,00.html

Doesnt Germany have any critical press at all? Watching the boxingpress in Germany is almost like watching the election in Russia:nono

ESB had it: 97:93 for Hager:good

spiegel for sure can not be considered to be too serious anymore. it's not too bad, but some people here tend to believe that it's something like the unified champion of independent journalism, which is just not true.
    i'm gonna translate:

"a close fight, halmich had to take a lot of punches and worry about the victory for most of the time. read the highlights at spiegel blablabla.."

ah, i decided otherwise because i'm too lazy. they didn't give every round specifically to one of them, so it's a bit vague. overall they had halmich ahead, it seems, in a very close bouth and with halmich getting beaten the **** out of her in the end of the fight.

To all Americans who keepknocking Germany's boxing decisions:

A country where boxing is ruled by Don King and the government is ruled by George Bush is in NO position to fingerpoint to corruption anywhere else in the world...

    A few points:

    1) Don King does not rule boxing. I actually would go as far as to say that Top Rank, GBP, and HBO have more power in boxing then Don King.

    2) George Bush does not rule the government. He is the leader of the Executive Branch. And I don't consider him a bad president, or a corrupt one, though many would disagree.

    3) Why shouldn't we point a finger at Germany for repeatedly giving us bull**** decision after bull**** decision?
