Hi, I haven't had my first fight yet and I started boxing about a half a year ago. I want to intensify my workout routines as my coach pretty much leaves strength training up to me and the gym is only open a couple times a week.. sadly... But this is what I was thinking. Please add input and advice. Thanks in advance. Monday (Max upper body)** A. 4 Rounds Shadow Boxing B. Bench Press (wieght levels increasing reps stay the same) 115 x 10 125 x 8 135 x 6 140 x max 145 x max C. Flat dumbbell bench press 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps D. Bent-over rows 4 sets, 10-15 reps E. Flyes 2-3 sets of 12-15 reps F. Ab workout * G. Neck Exercises Tues-Sat Shadow Boxing 4 rounds Pushups (50 regular, 25 clap, 25 deep pushups) Dips (2 sets of 50) Leg Raises 50 Side Bends (weighted) 50 Resistance Band Punches 2 rounds Crunches 100 Hit Abs to strengthen them Pull-Ups to fail Weighted Shrugs (50) Squats 100 Neck Exercises (any suggestions on these would be helpful, its just the neck bridge right now) And then running and jump-roping every other day.
