    1. judges must stop scoring solely on workrate

    2. same day weigh-ins

    3. no catchweights in title fights

    4. establish a committee to review bad decisions and terminate bad judges

    5. instant replay in-between rounds to review point deductions and "cut from headbutt" calls.

I think the point is that Cotto should have the RIGHT to come in anywhere between 141 and 147 for a welterweight title fight, and not be limited below that in the bout contract.

Get rid of 4-6 divisions and 1 title per division.

Ive noticed a few people saying they would bring back 15 rounders. The entire reason they stopped doing 15 rounders is because a scientific study showed boxers suffered more brain damage from accumulated punches in rounds 13-15. In fact they implemented the 12 rounders after a fighter collapsed and died after a 15 round fight. So I dont think bringing back 15 rounders would be a good idea for the boxers.

However, I do agree with same day weigh in's, one champion, one title per division. Standing 8 count as well.

I dont like the whole judges giving their scores after every round. Takes away from the suspense and could take the wind out of the sails of the fighter who is down on points as to the point where hed just give up on his stool, like Urkal during the Cotto fight with open scoring.

I do agree with the person who said bad judging needs to be thoroughly investigated and bad judges terminated. If that is the case, an immediate rematch needs to be ordered.

we'd get a lot more boxers with parkinsons or some other brain damage though...

    Unenforceable, as I said.

No-one can prevent fighters agreeing to a certain weight limit.
