New(?) Schmeling Movie-Arthur Abraham in it...Henry Maske

I liked the movie Joe & Max but as far as a Schmeling movie I got a link for you. Arthur Abraham is playing Richard Vogt, the last fight of Schmeling's career where he lost by decision in ten rounds. It'll be out in Germany in Oct 7th but I don't know about an American release.

Hopefully there will be english subtitles of course. I can't understand German to save my life lol. I would actually prefer people to speak German and there be English subtitles. It makes no sense that they would be speaking mostly English in Germany that's unrealistic.

 

Uwe Boll is directing it and he is woeful

 

A potentialy great fighter playing an ordinary one.

 

It will be bad. Boll as director? Maske playing Schmeling? Hernandez playing Louis? Nonononono! I don´t wanna see it. The boxing scenes should be nice because every fighter in there actually is a boxer but aside of that it will be awful. Poor Max, he hasn´t earned that.

Uwe Boll? That does not bode well, Boxed. Unless you're into garbage. The footage and all didn't look that bad, but that can be deceiving. His name alone is a fatal blow to this movie's credibility.

Apparently there will be a theatrical release in Germany on October 7th. Time for a serious roadtrip? No...
