Sportsbook has replaced Vbookie. The core functionality is generally the same however there are some key differences in the layout, explained below. Unfortunately there is no vcash carryover from the previous Vbookie system, however on the plus side everyone starts fresh on an equal footing with 1000 vcash. If you bet it all and lose it, you will be granted a fresh infusion of vcash (albeit a much lower amount) when the next event is created. How to bet using Sportsbook in 5 easy steps! Step 1: In the main forum list view, scroll down to "Bet on Boxing (No Real Cash" under Sportsbook. Click on one of the three sublinks: - Boxing Bets - MMA Bets - Other Sports UPDATE: You can now simply go to the "Bet on Boxing (No Real Cash" forum to see listed events, just like the old system. Click on an event thread, and then the link "Post your wagers here". If any event(s) are currently open, they will appear in the appropriate subforum under the tab "Upcoming" (which is the default view). Note: to look at older events that have been closed, click on the tab "Paid Out". Step 2: Click on the event name to bring up the outcomes. Generally, boxing events will almost always have the following 5 outcomes: Winner A Winner B Draw Over Under Odds are listed below each outcome in fraction and decimal format. One change of note from the old vbookie system is that decimal odds are now European based, not HK/Asian. For example 4/9 odds is listed as 1.44 decimal, not .44. It was easy to calculate your winnings on the old decimal system, however sportsbook now makes it even easier as it will show your exact winnings at the time of your bet, should the outcome be successful. Step 3: Click on the "Place Wager" link next to the desired outcome (for example Winner A) The popup window will show the current odds, your vcash balance, wager amount text box, and payout amount (should the outcome be successful). Step 4: Enter your bet and click "Place Wager" Step 5: Profit! If your outcome is successful, of course. If you have any other questions about the new betting system, please post here and I'll answer as best I can. Thanks!
