New Stuff From Bob Arum Regarding Mayweather v Pacquaio

:thumbsup So Manny saying fights a go as long as revenue is 50:50 and anytime in May whereas Arum knows manny's cut better than he does and wants it at end of May. :think

 

WTF does Arum mean Guarantee his half??

 

Someone just draft up a letter of offer and say:

- Weight limit 147 pounds,
- 50% to each party of PPV revenues,
- Both parties to provide their own guarantees in respect of any other monies (whatever this means),
- Co-promotion between GBP and Top Rank,
- Fight to take place on May 5 at the MGM Grand,
- Random blood and urine testing up to the day of the fight to be conducted by USADA (and WADA for when Pac is training in the Philipines),

and have signatures for Floyd, Oscar (on behalf of GBP), Pac and Arum (on behalf of Top Rank).

If one side does this up, signs and sends to the other and posts this all over the net... The other side is in a world of pain.

Obviously a more formal contract would have to be finalised, but that's the purpose of a letter of offer anyway.

 

If they're OK with the MGM Grand now, hopefully the late May demand they are persisting with is a negotiating ploy to ensure Floyd accepts the 50-50 as long as they bend to his demand for May 5. Hopefully that's the case, but doubt it
