When I think of knockout in terms of satisfaction, importance, importance to me, whatever, these are the fights and finishes that come to mind. There are some amazing KOs left on the cutting room floor of this list that had me pulling my damn hair out. I also really wanted to include Thunder vs. Grimsley, but I just couldn't. I have a long list of 25 more that I struggled with, but ultimately couldn't include for one reason or another. Looking at it, I see that you live by the sword and die by the sword in boxing. Rahman made my list twice on the wrong end and once in the right! Jones Jr., Pacquiao, Morrison, (and nearly Gerry Cooney+Johansson) made the list on both ends of the knockout.

    1. Sergio Martinez KO2 Paul Williams
    2. Tommy Hearns KO2 Roberto Duran
    3. Lennox Lewis KO4 Hasim Rahman
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez KO6 Manny Pacquiao
    5. Mike Tyson KO1 Michael Spinks
    6. Manny Pacquiao KO2 Ricky Hatton
    7. Antonio Tarver KO2 Roy Jones Jr
    8. Julian Jackson KO4 Herol Graham
    9. Alexis Arguello KO2 Kevin Rooney
    10. George Foreman KO2 Gerry Cooney
    11. David Tua KO1 John Ruiz
    12. Ray Mercer KO5 Tommy Morrison
    13. Oleg Maskaev KO8 Hasim Rahman
    14. Mike Weaver KO15 John Tate
    15. Joe Louis KO1 Max Schmeling
    16. Tommy Morrison KO6 Donovan Ruddock
    17. Rocky Marciano KO13 Jersey Joe Walcott
    18. Roy Jones Jr KO1 Montell Griffin
    19. Sugar Ray Robinson KO5 Gene Fullmer
    20. Mike McCallum KO5 Donald Curry
    21. Floyd Patterson KO6 Ingemar Johansson
    22. Nonito Donaire KO5 Vic Darchinyan
    23. Hasim Rahman KO5 Lennox Lewis
    24. Bob Foster KO4 Dick Tiger
    25. Shane Mosley KO 12 Ricardo Mayorga
