I love boxing, have since I was a kid. Great thing about it, is you don't have to pick a side you can just appreciate the sport. One of the things i don't get about the criticism of PBF is the quality of opponents. If this guy was an undefeated bum, fighting no body on his way to becoming a big time challenger i could understand. But anyone watching this guy knows he's one of the best fighters of his generation. His skill level and dominance is right there with Ali, Roy Jones, and if you want to be real with it, Kobe, Tiger, and MJ.

His skill set is what it is, no matter who he is fighting. Honestly I don't even know why his detractors think Manny is his biggest test. It's a good matchup but he's still bigger and more skilled than his opponent in that situation. If you just want to see the guy lose, hype up a fight against someone bigger and younger. If you just want to see how good he really is, well that boat sailed a long time ago. PBF is one of the best boxers to lace up a pair of gloves.

    Welcome to ESB.

I agree with the vast majority that you wrote in this post, although that I'll point out that the reason why Pac is considered such a tough test is because he possesses the type of power and speed that might enable him to land something big on Floyd in much the same manner that Mosley did in the 2nd round of their fight, and because he's so offensive minded that he won't discourage as easily as Mosley did once he started eating counters. I still think I'd favor Floyd, but with the improvement that Pac has displayed in his own skill-set over the years he still remains a legitimate threat to defeat Mayweather at the weight.

But, that doesn't diminish in any way the fact that Flod is indeed one of the very best to lace up the gloves and should be appreciated for that.

Click on UserCP. Go down the left side. You will see an ignore list option. If you put enough fools/trolls on it the site become much more readable.

Fans just want to see Floyd step it up a bit more.

We know he is great but when he runs around beating up midgets and dinosaurs, that just pisses people off because he could be fighting better opposition.

Sure he beat Mosley. I am a self proclaimed Floyd Hater but I picked Floyd to win by UD against Shane.

I was not fooled by Shane's performance against Margarito because Margarito got caught loading his wraps and Tony with out his plaster would have got beat by Reggie Strickland that night.

But what is Floyd going to do now?

He retired in his prime and came back.

Beating an old Mosley was good but now what?

People want to see the best, give us their best. Is that so hard to understand?

It's like watching a football game and your favorite team never tries to make a touchdown, they are only willing to go for field goals and or they only play great against sorry teams or them Canadian b list teams lol
