read it on the site that hypes fights.

Very disappointing, no real news again for us Toney fans, still no concrete fight plans, nothing...

Toney should forget for a moment about the Klitschkos and Haye.. true, he's a legend, but after the last couple years he doesn't deserve a title-shot, simple as that. He has to show us some good performances first, prove us that he's still got something left, make people interested again.. he has work his way to a title-shot (if he still can do that). His name and resume alone won't be enough anymore.

Suge is also asking the wrong questions. Instead of talking about Hopkins, he should have asked why Dan Goossen didn't make Toney-Chris Arreola or Toney-Quezada happen! These are two fights that would have made sense and that could have happened for real, but Goossen didn't want it. Goossen has two cards in december and Toney isn't on them?! Why that?? There was no problem with Toney fighting on the undercard of Andre Ward in september.. Suge should have asked about that!

Toney needs to realize that he can't just talk himself into a big fight now. He has to take the same route ALL other HW contenders out there have taken and still take - fight C-level fighters to keep himself in the picture and eventually get a mandatory spot for a title or an eliminator for a mandatory spot.

I don't think James has the motivation for that now. I could see him losing to some c-lister if he went this route, just not interested enough to train properly.

Does Tua want the fight? I doubt it.

Well, that leaves retirement for James. Toney does not want to fight Oquendo or C-Level opponents, no option is left.

That's the only thing worth mentioning in his career, blasting fighters behind a microphone in burger king.

Fighters are making history and impressing the public with their natural abilities and certain obese no hopers continue to show frustration for being overweight.

If this guy goes into the hall of fame then he does for beating Jirov and talking smack. His heavyweight resume is a complete joke, he recently needed steroids to go life and death with a can, he better stay away from Hopkins and continue to munch on his triple whoppers.

That is right. Dan Goossen does not want to put fightere from his stable against each other. In doing that, he pretty much killed Toney's remaining career. There was a time Goossen's only major fighter was Toney, he seems to have forgotten about this.

You have things messed up here. It is Hopkins who does not want to fight Toney. Toney called him out on numerous occasions.

Toney will become an ATG not just for beating Jirov but also the likes of Nunn and mccallum. His heavyweight run is something no other middleweight has done.

Now even IF his HW run was a complete joke (which it wasn't), Toney would still have had a great career and enter the HOF. We all know you don't like the man, and that's ok. But James Toney is a THREE DIVISION CHAMP - and, even more importantly, a TWO-TIME RING FIGHTER OF THE YEAR. Now these are facts. And he will enter the HOF and he deserves to enter it, no doubt - regardless if you can stand him or not.

I respect your support FROST. I think toney can still do it (get in shape and motivated). But he needs a good opponent. He could do with a good name to fight against. Get him in with a big old name, Rahman, Tua, briggs. I think he is more likely to shine in a bout like this.
