I think Beterbiev and GGG have better power than Kovalev p4p.

These 11 have the most impressive knockout records in the sport right now: Klitschko, Wilder, Stevenson, Kovalev, Golovkin, Kirkland, Thurman, Matthysse, Walters, Giovani Segura, Roman Gonzalez.

    Horrible list.

    R. Gonzales, Donaire, and J. Gonzales are more impressive than half of the people in that list.

Obviously Wladimir, Stevenson, Kovalev, and Golovkin are clear choices...

Jhonny Gonzalez deserves a big nod here. Great, proven puncher.

Nonito Donaire and Roman Gonzalez still are obvious "lower weight" guys that get on this list of "best punchers" easily.

Kazuto Ioka too. Great (always visually pleasing) KO's against much better competition than is being discussed.

No way Wilder or Raymi or Lemeiux can rank when there are so many more quality world level guys that show it time and time again against far superior foes.

For reference, the March 29, 2012 issue of The Ring Magazine discussed and ranked the best KO artists at the time:

    1. Nonito Donaire
    2. Marcos Maidana
    3. Juan Manuel Lopez
    4. Jhonny Gonzalez
    5. Wladimir Klitschko
    6. Sergio Martinez
    7. Lucian Bute
    8. Roman Gonzalez
    9. Gennady Golovkin
    10. James Kirkland

Honorable mentions: Abraham, Angulo, R. Bailey, Darchinyan, Gamboa, Judah, L. Matthysse, Nishioka, V. Ortiz, Pacquiao, Segura, and Tua.

While the top 10 was in some order or another pretty much the consensus list at the time for "best punchers" whenever the question, which is often, came up... the honorable mention list looks a little odd and dated even at the time.
