Who do you think would be a good new trainer for Canelo? Nacho Beristain? Maybe Freddie Roach, since Canelo wasn't aggressive enough against Floyd?

Whats wrong with his current trainer?

He was not aggressive against Floyd because weight cut did him in.

He should have been at 160 a year ago, and made 152 - not his trainers fault.

He actually threw a lot of punches agaisnt Floyd. He actually went over the top with trying to hit elbows shoulders and whatever else.

I didnt see anything to suggest his stamina wasnt good.

robert garcia gets a lot of hype but his strategy for every fight is the same, go out there, fight on the inside, throw lots of punches and knock him out.

when his fighters face skilled boxers they fail, donaire got schooled by rigo and brandon by pacquiao. mikey is a world class boxer because of the father not robert.

Considering Donaire was never that good and overhyped, I think Garcia did wonders for him.

Rios, well nobody gave him much of a shot against Pacquiao. Heck, he was coming off a loss to Alvarado. You can't turn lead into gold.

Mikey Garcia doesn't follow the game plan you described.

I actually agree with you with the Freddie Roach as a trainer. Freddie Roach turns people into offensive beasts. I think that it will suit him well because Canelo will get more conditioning and will throw more punches with Freddie in his corner. Canelos defense is not that bad.

Is this thread a question or is he actually getting a new trainer? Chepo and Eddie no longer working with him? I think they did really good with Canelo...

Honestly , I think the Trainer he has right now is the perfect Fit for him .

He looked great against Angulo and completely manhandled the dude everyone said would manhandle him . (I was one of those people)

No says it , but I think Canelo also showed improvement in his stamina . He didn't blow himself out not once during the whole fight despite throwing haymakers after haymakers for 10 rnds .

Unfortunately for Canelo , Hes on his way to recieving his second loss when he fights Lara .
