haven't seen the floyd interview yet as i'm listening to mosley right now, but that interviewer talks too much. let the stars talk, don't talk over them. i think mosley is giving a good interview, but i don't like the interviewer.

Mosley is going into one of his biggest fights ever(again) and Mayweather is just dipping his feet into tough competition in WW. Hopefully those years of not testing himself won't bite him in the ass but I do wish both fighters best as this fight should be worth the fan's money.

just watched the floyd interview. the interviewer did a little bit of a better job in that one. i was a bit concerned about floyd's response about manny paquiao in that he's not bothered about the fight not happening, and that money can't define him. floyd is a world champion and he should be bothered about not fighting the best, and floyd does care a lot about money, because like he always used to say, if it makes money, it makes sense, and he even changed his name to money, so he's obviously very money orientated, so it's a surprise he's not bothered about making his biggest payday of his whole career.

I think He's not going to feel bothered if he thinks he did his part in trying to make the fight happen.

would you be bothered losing roughly about $30-40 million dollars regardless if you tried your best or not?

I read that more as a tactical move; sending out the message that people (particularly Top Rank) shouldn't automatically assume that he was desperate to play ball and that he could play hard-to-get as well as Top Rank could. Trying to set the framework for any future discussions, basically.

Yeah, but this is Floyd we are talking about here... he would never admit such a thing.

it depends on how you read it. some would read it as floyd used the drugs to get out the pac fight, so is obviously not bothered about the fight not happening. he should of just said that he is bothered, but pac ****ed it all up.

lets hope that if floyd beats mosley, then that fight happens. oh yeah, paquiao has to beat clottey aswell.

From what looked like a pretty dismal position just after Christmas, in trying to out-position each other, the welters have now made themselves very interesting again.

I'm not sure what'll happen (gut feeling is Floyd UD's Mosley and Pac UD's Clottey, but neither of those are rock-solid certainties), but it means that after the next round of fights things will be a bit more solid. If Pac and Floyd come through unscathed, then the clamour/hype for them to get it on will be much bigger than even a couple of months ago.

The problem with that line of thinking is how in the world would Mayweather know that Pac would turn that down? Athletes taking and accepting test is not a big deal in 2010. All the top athletes of today have done it, and continue to do so. Who in their right mind would think testing would be the ultimate deal breaker.
