Mike Tyson has always said Cus drilled into him that it's "not enough to be a great fighter, you have to be an EXCITING fighter as well". Clearly that's where he's coming from, 'use your skills to get the other guy out of there as quick as possible' as opposed to 'use your skills to get hit as little as possible.'

Pacman is a very fun fighter to watch, he's been that way for many, many years because he's technically flawed and loves to go for the KO.

I enjoy watching Floyd fight but that's because I'm a huge fan of the sweet science and enjoy watching technical ability. His fights have been so one sided since pretty much when he fought Baldomir that he essentially takes away any suspense that an opponent would have a chance against him in the ring. His fights would probably be more pleasing to the casual fan if an opponent could actually make it a difficult fight with him.

But that's just a testament to how great of a fighter Floyd Mayweather is. He's been making a lot of top tier fighters for the past decade look well below average.

 

Mike Tyson is definitely a true boxing historian who just so happened to be, at one point in time the best fighter in the world. I know a lot of Floyd fanatics will now begin throwing jabs at Mike because of his opinion but it should be respected based on who he is and what he knows. I agree that at PAC's peak he was sensational and that a PAC vs Floyd fight is still important even though it's long overdue. At this point I definitely feel Floyd has the advantage if they do make this fight but we've been surprised many times in this sport where the under dog defies the odds and we witness big upsets.

 

Tyson and I am on the same page. Mayweather may be the overall better fighter, but he fixes fights, (Ortiz and Canelo), and he won't fight Pacquaio.

Pacquaio ****s people up. Line up. He ****s them up.

Pacquiao is a more exciting fighter than Floyd...everyone should agree on this.
