GSP is my fave fighter but he shouldnt punch or kick like that and gives us false hope come fight time.

LOL! The swing the back trick! I used to do that when solo practicing elbows (forearms). Just push the huge bag back and then lead into it.

And lol at "We all know he is not going to stand with Nick!"

I can't wait until after the fight when GSP beats him everywhere and then months down the road people discrediting his win against Diaz, like they do against pretty much all of his wins. He's the better overall striker, by a long shot.

Gsp is a good striker by MMA standards.

Having said that, if not tryng to avoid takedowns, Diaz will easily outstrike gsp.

Fighters who arent concerned with being taken down are far more effective striking wise. Gsp probably will still win the fight by continuous takedowns and (maybe) gnp, but if Diaz comes as Gsp like he doesnt give a **** he will win the standup for sure.

The real interesting part of this fight is Diaz's ability to come forward even while taking punches. If he goes in, take shots and still moves forward, like he does pretty much all the time, then he stands a good chance against Georges.

Most fighters don't fight the same way they usually do when they face GSP, they're more afraid to engage. The challenger should be the one trying to take the belt away from the champ. Best example was Shields, who said himself he would be relentless, and wouldn't stop going forward until he got GSP down, yet we saw none of that.

Diaz should be the guy to pose a real challenge to the champ, what he did against Daley was amazing, so i'm really hoping for a good fight with a hearthy challenger.

Still rooting for GSP though. :good

His best chance is to mark him up early, otherwise he's being out classed everywhere

between takedowns he yes he will.

First thing Gsp will probably do is shoot for a takedown.

this video is bait IMO, to make Diaz think that GSP has some sort of striking gameplan but that is not what will happen. This will be a takedownfest, Diaz has no hope of stopping the takedowns save a knee to the head as gsp shoots in.

Diaz's best chance is to mark gsp up early?

    no.

Diaz is the guy who stood toe to toe with Daley, and won by tko. he has stood toe to toe whith many strikers and won. Gsp uses takedowns and threats of takedowns to outstrike his opponents.

Gsp will be outstruck by diaz, but will most likely win a decision based on control and takedowns (AKA being on top of the other guy).

No Diaz and Daley stood in front of each other, GSP aint gonna be stationary, He caught KJ when Noons planted his feet to throw power shots, Diaz's reach knowledge was too much for him to overcome. But when KJ used lateral movement, generally Diaz was pawing at nothing. Add to that Cyborg was having great success with leg kicks too

Diaz is the most overrated striker in MMA

Gsp definitely is not stationary but I think Diaz will still find him with all the punches to the head and body he throws. Nick will surely miss as well, I dont think that Diaz is a the greatest striker but I believe his striking is superior to gsp's.
