Sergio stays eating jabs. At least he doesn't have to worry about that with Jr.

Don't know, but I'm assuming it is relatively new. Maybe this was at the beginning of camp.

if Sergio will avoid getting trapped on the ropes and won't eat too many bodyshots, the fight is his

His hand speed hasn't decreased with his age. Hopefully we will get a few more years of Martinez fighting without his skills being diminished due to age.

Sergio looks good....He's older now but he's preserved himself well with the late start and not taking too much damage throughout his career.. His last fights have shown signs that his athleticism isn't where it once was a few years back, but he has the edge in fighting the higher quality opponents, he's faster, more dynamic and has more dimensions.

With that said I have a feeling Jr. pulls out a "W"....Jr, hasn't been as committed to training as he probably should have been but the kid is a tank...his foundation of investing in the body is key....The fact he has a great chin enables him to take a few shots to close distance where he can begin breaking down his opponents with an onslaught of body shots and some pretty devastating work upstairs mixed in.

If Sergio can't keep the fight at his distance he'll have a lot of problems down the line as the fight progresses. He needs to control distance and dictate pace with the jab and movement. He can lead Jr into counters if he can become an effective matador because we all know JCC Jr is definitley going to be the bull.

hard to predict this one but my gut says Sergio will have his coming out party this weekend.

Looks like it's Julius Jackson in there with him, and we know Jackson was in this camp.

Fighter is orthodox i believe, he just switched to southpaw in the middle of the session. Begins and ends it as orthodox though.
