toe to toe how does this generations great welters matchup against greats of the past 20 yrs leonard ,hearns ,whitaker ,hoya, chavez ,duran, trinidad,. because to me right now i cannot remember in recent history a class so good margarito, williams ,cotto ,clottey, berto, cintron and that is just the top 6 the winner of this bunch will no doubt be remembered
Any one of the old fighters you mentioned(in their prime) although spans across a lot of time would beat any one of the current ones you listed. Gotta say though it is definitely a dynamic division.
The current group of welters has more great fighters competing at the same time than any other era I recall, and most of them are still in their prime.
I think that those guys you mentioned of this generation prime for prime could prob have a few of them beating Trinidad or Hoya, but I'm pretty confident Leonard Hearns and Duran could beat any of the currents.
You gotta be bullshitin'....Prime Hoya and Prime Tito would beat Margo, Cotto, Williams, and Gayweather...
Hell no...the only one who possibly could beat a prime Hoya or Tito...as of now...would be Marg...and that's a big maybe...
