New WBC Heavyweight Rankings: Wilder remains at #1

After two knock out losses I simply cannot rate him higher than 5th.

 

I rate IBO over WBC.

Imagine what you could do with your life if you weren't so invested in someone elses.

 

Wilder, Ruiz, Ortiz and Parker should all be 6,7,9 and 8 respectively. Whyte should not be an interim champion (it makes no sense for an interim title to change hands like the actual title, hell to even exist if the champion is active) nor any higher than 5. Frank Sanchez should not be above Hunter or Hrgovic. Joyce should probably be at 1.

So, if you have Joyce at #1, Whyte at #5, Wilder, Ruiz, Ortiz and Parker at 6-9 ... Who do you rate #2, #3, #4 behind Joyce at #1?

I can't rationalize guys that all have recent losses, or looked terrible against below average comp over undefeated, fresher guys, that all look to be legit contenders.

Also, I have Parker 8 and Ortiz 9. Note their names and order of the numbers.

 

I can understand rating new guys like Joyce, Hrgovic, Sanchez highly.

New, undefeated, on the rise. It's not uncommon throughout history to rank them highly and give them a shot.

I still don't get what people see in Hunter. Hunter is basically an amateur peer of Wilder's and Fury's. Hunter started as a heavyweight. Moved down to cruiserweight to try to win something. Didn't. Moved back up. But he still fights old cruiserweights.

 

No surprises here. Wilder Bodyguard Council at it again.

Watch them order Whyte vs Wilder for the vacant title when Fury is magically elevated to franchise champion.

 

I'm admittedly biased in favor of Hunter
