What's weirder is that Okolie is number 1 with the WBC, rather than the WBO even though he was WBO CW champ for a bit. Makes no sense.

Rankings are painful to look at.

He paid the WBC, so they ranked him #1.

In all seriousness, though, he was WBC bridgerweight champ.

Why I welcome Turki. At least the best are fighting each other.

Good, Kabayel's the WBC Interim champion so that increases the odds of us getting to see Okolie get a proper punishment for all that hugging he does.

Just saying, a taller man trying to hug a guy with great body punching skills won't end well for the one initiating the clinch... but it'll be pretty sweet for those of us who love actual boxing! :D

Ring magazine are the go to for rankings. All other organisations are very questionable.

He really did a 180, it´s quite something. I wonder if there is a long form interview with him about this, and how he pulled it off.
His whole team is great at building and re-building boxers careers. Basically everyone in his stable gets a crack at the world level.

The good news is Kabayel has their interim. So Okolie ain't becoming Stiverne II without beating him. And if he did he'd be a much more credible champ than Stiverne was and the WBC would look like geniuses.

I thinks it more he did them a favor by promoting Bridgerweight when no one wanted to. Might have promised him a HW title shot if he fought at BW. Thats one way to get fighters to do that.

IF Kabayel doesn't get Parker, feed Okolie to him. He'll be back at bridgerweight by the 6th round.

Unless someone else asked to be rated I don't see what y'all're bitching about.

Agit moved up, Zhang moved down, Larry was already third. Bakole dropped, AJ and Wardley moved up. It's the way ratings work.
