What they truely meant: "We'll try to grab more money than ever this year by promoting paper champions"
You really believe that ? They have interim, unified, regular and super champions. Also the international, female, Inter-Continental, continental Americas and 3 or something titles that start with the letter F. That is 10 something titles if you dont include the Female Championship belt. Sure....popularity :yep
... Three of those so-called new champions were handed belts gift-wrapped by Sulaiman himself, who stripped two top 10 pound for pound fighters and best in their division only a few months after they won their belts. :-( Why doesn't clown just change the company's name to MBC already? atsch **** the WBC and WBA, I wish them bankruptcy in 2012. You can tell just from their letters how scummy and deceitful they are, continuing trying to spin their bull****. While IBF's message was basically a short thank you to everyone in boxing, fighters, fans, etc... and the WBO didn't even bother releasing one, they have nothing to spin. Good representation really on how I'd rank these paper titles now in 2012 - WBO>IBF>WBA>WBC.
They're all rubbish, worthless belts. The WBO and IBF are the piles of garbage that's atleast tied up properly and let's out the less stink.
Think I prolly said this in another thread, but the IBF, IBO, and WBO are seriously the only legit sanctioning bodies left. Used to be the WBA, WBC, and IBF, but now, IMO, IBO and WBO have become more valid by a long stretch.
there is no such thing as a legit sanctioning body their whole business model is conflict of interest
