OK, so I got my rival RB1 gloves and hand wrap mit things, hit the bag for around 30 minutes, stopping ever 5 or 3 mins for 30 to 60 secs inbetween.

Got home went bed, woke up for work and my back and shoulder blades feel sooo aore, is this good, like im getting the benefits of the workout, or am I doing something wrong.

Just a little write up on the gloves, any other pair ive used leaves my wrists very sore after a few hits, these are great, better than the 6 pound everlast ones i used to use about once a year when i was at my cousins

Yeah that's normal when you're just starting out. Takes a little bit for your muscles to get used to it. Keep at it.

that is the exact soreness you want, and you need wraps.

Yeah those things will give you good protection for your knuckles, but you'll want the wraps too to give support for your wrists and the bones in your hands.

You should be able to put those on and then do your wraps on top which will give you great protection for your whole hand.

Wraps are a must. Also if you're looking to box, getting used to punching and turning over your shots with an actual boxing glove is a better decision. Eventually your soreness should go away. Good luck.

 As for the wraps, what was said above..Maybe put your wraps over the knuckle protector things, junior wraps would probably work fine since you don't need to wrap your knuckles as much..

just a heads up, my dads cousin was a kickboxer and used to do MMA, i think my dad said he was a second Dan, I dont know what that means, i think it might be like a black belt lol, sorry for ignorance, anyway, he told my dad i should do Muay thai, so i might have a look, it seems theres a club near me, does anyone have any experience in this sport, what do you think?

I practised it for a while, I enjoyed it..

But I wouldn't advise doing both boxing and muay thai, cause the stances are different and stuff and it gets confusing juggling between both
