Lewis Ritson to headline hopefully against a decent opponent after being fed a bum on the Khan undercard on September 8th.

Glenn Foot v Robbie Davies Jr fighting for the the British and Commonwealth titles also confirmed for it.

They’re hoping to face Edis Tatli for the European title, another good fight for him imo, I love the way he’s been brought along

Whose ritson got on Khan undercard?
I thought Eddie was looking to get him someone who'd give him the rounds
Glad to see him headlining, it makes sense

I love watching Lewis Ritson fight and am glad Hearn is keeping him active. Great story too.

It isn’t announced but it’s not going to be anyone of note if he’s headlining a month later.

Strange putting him on Khan bill as he isnt exactly ring rusty and could get injured before Newcastle bill. Like you say he wont be fighting anyone of quality on it either.

Ye true, you have to wonder, what is the point.
If Lewis is in a 12 rdr at Newcastle, which you would think so if he's heading, then to dial someone in for 2 fights in a short time can take something away from a fighter in the last fight. Don't see the point in this tbh

Can't wait to see Ritson fight again. I believe Dave Allen might be on the Newcastle card too so will be a great atmosphere at the arena.

If heard it might be price for Allen next. Porky Russ said it on his podcast, although he did say, he doesn't know how true it is.

Ritson-Tatli would be good, though Tatli won't be cheap to get over, believe he has strong financial backing in Finalnd.

Davies Jr-Foot is a really cool fight. Let's see who Allen is in with. Decent card so far

well his last 3 fights have been 1 or 2 round KO's, and hes probably fighting for the european title in October, so a durable journeymen for september would be good preparation, he needs some rounds

I think very few will take him rounds. I understand your point and partly agree id he gets such an opponent. On a negative, he mighht get cut or jaded fighting so soon to his big fight in Newcastle
