Must say was a little disappointed in the main fight, getting tired of watching those o/s fighters come out just for a pay cheque

What do these bums get paid that they bring from overseas to fight the Aussie boxers. I'm also sick of the line - " there is only 150 registered boxers in Australia so it is hard to get opponents". What a load of ****. Why don't fighters like bennett, Pauley, Medley etc etc fight each other instead of fighting bums from overseas who do nothing but pad records. Please can someone, anyone please tell me why other than not risking defeat do these fighters not fight each other.

Chad is going to have a go at 140 again by the sounds of it. Anyone know if Medley is going back to welter or is going to stay at 154?
That would probably kill the fight for now.

The Aussie fight scene is like the WWF 20yrs ago.

I remember Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake and Ultimate warrior would always fight cans on the weekly shows and only meet each other at a special event like westlemania.

I believe that has changed these days with the big names always fighting (pretending to fight  ) the other big names weekly.

That's why when Aussie fighters take there 20-0 records to the states or Europe they get hammered and we wonder why?

Medley is staying at 154 & will have a very important match up at that weight class on the FOX televised card on Oct 17th.
Medley would not hesitate dropping back to 147 for a fight with Chad Bennett.:deal

He never has really stepped up to face other Aussies of a similar level around his weight classes sadly.
I guess he doesnt want to improve his reputation, rather just fight dodgy imports.
