Newer to Aussie boxing - Who are the best up and comers?

My point was, a resource like boxrec doesn't tell you that fighter A had opponents B, C & D pull out before fighter E with a woeful record stepped in with 24 hours to go, as I've seen time and time again.

It's not to much to ask to take into account is it?

Fair enough Leon but what about late withdrawals through their whole frickin career. You can't explain away some guys embarrassing padded records. Some are just padded beyond belief. Complete frauds.

 

Of course there is, I just can't recall a card I've been to where it hasn't happened, and usually more than once per card, and of course it can happen numerous times during a career. I'm ultimately saying boxrec will not give you the clearest indication of how things eventuated.

 

Every boxer that appears on this list will have had a minimum of 8 pro fights and I have seen numerous fights of each and every 1 of them.
Boxers who regularly fight bums will appear in this list.
Of course I understand on the odd occasion there is an opponent pull out but claiming it happens nearly every bout won't cut the mustard.
Also fighting undersized overseas opponents regularly will be seen on this list.

 

Not many articles receive criticism and ridicule before they are even written.

I expect debate and some critism it might actually lead to some of these boxers stepping it up a bit with some pressure applied.
I'm not associated to any Aussie boxer so I call it how I see it.

Sam has only had 4 pro fights since 2010....

I think he definately has wat it takes to go a long way in the game but would like to see some more activity from him!

 

On the flip side, some promoters love getting opponents to take fights on short notice. In fact, they do their best to make it that way by having a "off again, on again" tactic in trying to get outside camps to be underdone.

Matt garlett saw a filo kid fight over there (cant think of his name atm)....same kid garlett was scheduled to fight on the green v pole undercard. Garlett pulled out as soon as he saw the filo kid dice up the local. Thats a fact. Wont read that on boxrec either, so you are right there.

Promoters and fighters have genuine excuses sometimes, but many times its by design.

 

Of course it goes both ways, my original point was that boxrec does not always tell the full story.

 

dont involve me because your a moron who licks peoples nut sacks and makes up excuses for why boxers in this country love to pad their records. late withdraws:rofl, you fcking idiot! atschwhat else have you got? :nut boxrec tells exactly the full story, just not the one you would have us all belive.. you rekon a guy whos fought over 10 bums in a row did so because of late withdraws? hahaha get ur hand off it poofta.. boxrec is a record keeping site and its records are fairly accurate, you can see paterns of padded records time and time again but you would have us belive its all due to bad luck!
