It makes sense when you realize this is the Teddy Atlas that held a loaded gun at a 15yr old Tyson and fired off a shot.

No matter how low it is, as long as it supports his argument he's all for it. he contradicts himself all the time.

 

He didn't shoot a gun at Tyson. Otherwise Tyson would have been shot and everyone would have heard... or he would be dead. Obviously neither happened. He pointed the gun and threatened him, and then fired the gun at the sky to make his point. Obviously he's got to be a little nutty, but I guess it would be the only way to figure out a solution to his problem with Tyson.

Tyson hit puberty way before he was 15. He was 5'10 190 pounds of muscle.

 

You really need to be quiet unless you KNOW something about anything. Atlas DID pull a gun on Tyson and shoot it into the air to scare him. Tyson reportedly had gotten a bit too sexually aggressive with Atlas' younger sister. This and the fact that he felt that Cus wasn't disciplining Mike properly led to his departure from the gym. He felt it was best to leave before something really bad happened. Most MEN would defend a family member against this type of behavior, but apparently not you. If a stunt like that were done today, Atlas would be in jail end of story. Obviously, holding a gun at a teenager for being horny is over the line and a bit crazy. No, nevermind, its a lot of crazy.
