Newest Teddy Atlas Interview on Floyd-Manny

I was thinking the same thing. I really doubt Floyd wanted the tests done for the future sake of the sport, but if these tests become standard in the future, Floyd actually might of done a good thing in an indirect way. There are so many reasons up in the air as to why Floyd wanted these tests done, yet the timing also brings up questions as to why he didn't do this before with other fighters like Judah, Hatton, DLH, etc? I can't really choose a side for now and gonna let it ride through and just wait for Mosley-Berto. Tired of all the gossip and rumors with no evidence just wanna see some good fights.

 

Atlas put a pretty serious argument but he needs to be more responsible in sayin there's an internet email that he saw.

If you were a pro fighter, and your life was on the line every time you laced them and there were speculations and RUMORS about your opponent juicing, would you not want to have him submitt random blood samples, just to be safe???? And to make it FAIR you would take the same tests. All this because you understood how advanced masking agents have become and that there have been at least ONE case where a fighter passed a urine test but later admitted to being juiced....

You would find the more detailed tests unnacceptable?

Anybody who tells stories about fighting 10-25 rednecks in a bar by himself and surviving is probably a little unreliable to say the least.

I think it's funny how everyone hated Atlas except for when he brings up something they feel like supporting. Then his track record is a okay and he's given completely immunity for his own idiocy.
