"He's a guy who puts himself on the line in that ring. Doesn't he have the right to make sure that the guy is on something that could give him an unfair edge and could hurt him? He's not out of line to ask for that if he has a real concern that that's a possibility."

    BINGO

Does every athlete have the right to insinuate his opponent is cheating because that opponent is performing at a high level?

I'm glad the Eagles didn't refuse to play the Cowboys this weekend because of that reason. What would you think if the Philadelphia Eagles had taken Floyd's position and refused to play this past Saturday because they were convinced that the players on the Cowboys were all juicing and it wasn't the same team from the beginning of the season?

It would sound pretty ridiculous, wouldn't it?

If you're not up Floyd's ass, this is how ridiculous his position sounds.

Your the only ****ing one giving the blow job here. You have Floyd's dick so far up your ass it has you crossed eyed. I don't give a **** about what Manny will make or what Floyd will make. It doesn't mean **** to me. My conversation was not to you or about either fighter turning down the fight. Do you understand it now you ****ing Floyd dick sucking son of a *****? The conversation was about the ridicules claim of what people here will do for 40 million. I'm not pinnoy nor am I some die hard Pac fan. Now shut the **** up and quit trying to tie every one to a Pac fan you ****ing ******.

Bad analogy. Eagles were the Cowboys LEAGUE MANDATED opponent. Boxers are free agents with the ability to fight whomever they can get to sign a contract. I'm not up anyone's ass, I simply don't understand (as most don't) how Pacquiao WALKED from negotiations for the largest payday of his life? That makes no sense.:bbb

Arum and Pac walked away because they're truly convinced that Floyd doesn't really want to fight...Arum has stated that he feels Floyd is wasting the time of all parties involved, including GBP.

BTW, it is a good analogy due to this proposed fight being mandated by a public consensus. Everyone wants to see this fight happen. There has been a lot of pressure on Floyd Mayweather to make this fight happen. This is why a lot of observers feel that all efforts have been ill-fated from the outset.

Arum is not the most trusted guy in boxing. Doublespeak is his business. Don't forget there is long standing bad blood between Floyd and Arum. I'll still have to disagree regarding the anology. Either football team could've chosen not to play. The price for that is not being allowed to vie for the SuperBowl. No way that happens in any major sport because of the leagues financial and contractual obligations. Boxing is behind the times in this regard. We'll all be gone before they fix it...:bbb

There is bad blood between Floyd and Bob...this is probably why Bob is so convinced Floyd has no interest in fighting...he's seen this before.

and, whether or not the analogy is a precise one is a moot point...it is ridiculous nonetheless.

No, it wasnt a great interview. Atlas back tracked, now he throws Tim Smith under the bus and says "this is why i want to get out of boxing" :rofl Why, because Atlas is a total attention ***** who thought he would drop a "bombshell" on tv and everyone would cream their pants and love him. Now, we want proof and instead of saying he actually SAW the email, he redirects to Tim Smith so he never saw it. He's an idiot.
