Newest Teddy Atlas Interview on Floyd-Manny

The e-mail is just hearsay. It could be true but it could be absolutely nothing at all. We don't know enough about it.

I definitely agree with Atlas's statements below.

Commissions can only catch so much, especially since they test only around the time of the fight. Mayweather has the right to ask for extra drug testing. Pacquiao has the right to reject it.

I'd like to see stricter drug testing all around boxing, and it to come as a result of the commissions enforcing it, rather than it come from a request from a fighter (who has the leverage to make such a request and won't get laughed at and shot down immediately).

 

You can't get your head around it because you can't accept the fact that Pac did not refuse but offered 24 days which Floyd refused without a counter offer. I'll repeat that:

1. Floyd offered 14 days BEFORE mediation - Pac declined
2. They went into mediation where Floyd knew already that he will not change his mind on the 14 days.
3. Pac relented and offered 24 days.
4. Floyd refused and did not make a counter offer defeating the whole point of mediation
5. Pac thought it's a waste of time and moved on to fight someone that Floyd would not even dare to think of fighting.

 

Agendas against who? Despising people and being bias are two different things. If the guy doesn't hate Tyson I believe he doesn't push agendas too much.

 

So we see that Teddy has got zero proof and he's reaching for anecdotes to prove "his" points. Is this what we expect from unbiased professional analysts?

Where's this email Teddy? Prove your point. Prove you're not biased. Prove you're not being paid.

whats the difference of taking a blood test a day before the fight vs taking blood test right after the fight?

if found positive after the fight, they can call out for no contest and the record is still 0. they still get their 25Million.

if found positive before the fight, the fight is off and no payment at all.

Man, you are so far off the mark. Floyd didn't do anything other than insist on a test. The more reported comments that upset Manny were made by Roger, Floyd Sr and Paulie freakin' Malignaggi!

Leon wasn't being biased, he was doing the opposite. Teddy was doing his usual opinionated unfounded spiel and Leon was simply challenging him and asking him to be objective.

Teddy's POV is interesting, but he has NOTHING to do with Manny or Floyd, so it's just supposition. Mike Marley is a **** though, he's right about that.

The difference here is if Manny is indeed cheating Floyd could be injured which can be "overturned". Also the difference is while many of you are stuck on teh 24 day/14 day disparity your forgetting that manny's offer comes with 3 NON RANDOM blood test and unlimited random urine testing that would stop 24days prior to the fight.

Teddy is spot on and speaks his mind and his opinion. He is right when he says

People who don't seem to understand the reason behind the request or the reasoning for Pac to take the test are biased and unreasonable. They aren't lookly at this logically and can't take the WaPacMan glasses off for a minute to see the situation for what it is.
