Manny is not the best fighter in the world. Floyd is going to beat him around the ring if Manny agrees to take the blood test.

Not only is Pacquiao moving up in weight, he is also refusing to take relevant, current blood testing.

Oh, Manny didn't agree to blood testing? I missed that. Is this the same relevant blood testing that has never detected HGH?

I respect Atlas' opinions. Why not just take the tests? I was more of a fan of Pacquiao but there is no principle in refusing to take on these sorts of testing when it seems like the better way to ensure a clean fight. Manny and his team brought it upon themselves.

There will always be something that testing won't detect. It is a lagging pursuit since invariably the drugs that come out first have to be known about before they can be tested for. Do you understand how that works?

That said, Olympic Style testing is better than the current testing in boxing, and that sort of testing is being refused by Pacquiao.

Sure, why stop at blood? Let's take stool samples too -- they have the same efficacy rate as blood at this point. Manny and floyd were within 10 days of agreement for blood testing, with random uring samples along the way. Again, there is NO PROOF that blood samples are more effective than urine at detecting HGH because NEITHER has worked to this point.

Did he refuse? Last time I heard, he allowed 3, already more than the required. The current blood testing protocol does not require random blood testing. Why would he subject to that? Did he ever test positive? What was the basis? Oh sorry, I keep forgetting BECAUSE HE BEAT UP BIGGER GUYS. Tyson was a small HW, yet he kept beating bigger guys until he fell into all sorts of personal problems.

Floyd is fakking chicken all along and made a charade out of all this and all along did not really want the fight. It is fakking time *****s should wake up from their dreams and get back to reality. Floyd has to wait for Shane before announcing any fight so he can save face, I mean not to the *****s, but to the rest of the boxing world.

A fighter has a right to ask for testing to assure himself he's fighing an opponent on even terms, Atlas said it beautifully.

.....just like Atlas said, its the times we live in where these PED's are around everywhere, in every sport.
Boxing is certainly not immune to it, in fact boxing is as corrupt a sport as they come, and I'd say there's a better chance to get away with cheating in boxing than any other sport out there.

Great points by Atlas in mentioning that there is precedent in boxing where boxers are using Ped's.
......and a great point he made about one of Roach's own fighters (James Toney) testing positive against John Ruiz.

    Great stuff by Atlas.
