Rios is 100x harder than Ortiz and would probably kill him in a street fight.

Brandon and his brother Antonio were legendary in Garden City as street fighters or may be infamous would be a better word for it. They both spent a lot of time in jail for it. Brandon's Dad is a pretty easy going guy. His Mom is the bad ass of the family. That woman is hard and downright scary.

As far as the way that Brandon now acts or talks is concerned. That has nothing to do with boxing. He has acted and talked that way his entire life.

I have to laugh when people call him a punching bag or say that he has no defense. You can't box the way Brandon does if that is true. Boxing experts have said he is one of the best inside fighters in boxing history. Brandon knows how to slip punches and move with punches to lessen their effect. When he does get hit solid he has the chin to take it but he knows when to get hit and when not to. He does not mind taking a punch to land his own. He had over 300 amateur bouts and he was never hurt in any of them. He has only been hurt once as a pro and that was from a body shot early in his career and he got up to knock the guy out.

Ortiz has a Glass Jaw but Rios is so flat footed and slow. This is a toss up for me. Don't care who wins as neither is going anywhere.

I know you meant this as a bad thing but it isn't. If indeed Brandon does as you say and, "goes nowhere." That would mean he would be one of the the top 10 welter weights in the world forever.

Rios is underrated and just tells it like it is he doesnt try to be someone he isnt. Just seems like a down to earth guy that enjoys his fighting

I dunno man. Ortiz has a glass jaw and no heart. Rios has an iron chin and plenty of heart. To me, this is pretty easy call.

I agree, Ortiz hits harder then Rios, has faster hands and faster feet. Anybody who pretends as if Rios would easily beat Ortiz are buffoons who get excited because Rios talks alot of trash, like the case with most boxing message board members.

Excited about antics and not skill.

History has proven you wrong. Ortiz has quit 3 times as a pro. (In my opinion he quit against Mayweather) As an amateur he use to cry and whine when he was outboxed. He use to cry when he sparred Rios. He has always been a whiner and quitter.
