Wbo featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza will make his first defence of his title in Las Vegas at the Fontainebleau on June 21st. He will take on Sergio Chirino Sanchez who is ranked number 2 by the Wbo. If successful he is expected to face Robeisy Ramirez later this year in a rematch.

Speaking of Ramirez he will take part in an interim title fight on June 29th. No opponent or location has been revealed.

Kazakh middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly will headline on July 13 in Las Vegas. No opponent has been named.

Oh look, the WBO are clearly in bed with Top Rank, again!

 This is blatant corruption and no one cares. And it´s gone on for well over a decade now.
Ramirez has no case for an interim belt, there is no need for one.

Yea why is an interim title even necessary?

It´s because Rafael isn´t signed to TR. And Top Rank has held the WBO featherweight belt since 2007.
Let that sink in for a moment. Since 2007, the only guys to actually hold the WBO belt at 126lbs were all signed to Top Rank.

Nothing shady going on at all.

Not a good fight by any means, but Mosley kinda earned this. Good for him.

Hmm I wonder who janibek is gonna fight. Middleweight is so weak though I'm not expecting much.
