I'll hold my opinion until he comes back, if he is in shape I'll support him and follow his career but if he comes at 250+ he just can go and fu$k himself or eat the whole freaking Burger King for all I care.

Hopefully Solis can give something to the heavyweight division after a return. I hope he's hungry and gets sharp real quick. I really wanted to see a good fight against Vitali and I was disappointed. I know he has the skills to compete well in the division and translate the success of his amateur background.

Good news Kid Cubano. I hope he recovers 100%. Imagin Vitali Klitschko as well had a career threatning knee injury (Rahman-Fight 2005) with a 3 year break and look how he recovered from it.

To every fan with knowledge he showed in the first 2:30 vs. Vitali, what he is made of. Put him down to 230-235 lbs. and he gives Wlad more trouble then Haye did last weekend.

If his first fight will be Feb 2012 then I don't see him fighting for a belt before 2013 at the very earliest. If he gets one at all.

In 10 years Solis will remember that one big chance at stardom and big paydays he had and how his lack of discipline ruined it.

The difference is Vitali takes his conditioning seriously, and Solis is a fat slob

Awesome news. I can't wait until he returns. I want to see him in a couple of comeback fights first against B opponents before challenging again for the Title. He seems very motivated and gaining only 12 pounds while inactive means that he is indeed serious. Let Vitaly do whatever he feels like, Solis will become World Champion with or without Vitaly. ;)

I like him as a boxer, very very skilled.

His gut disgusts me though. And when his knee exploded I just thought, it's because your a slob.

Hope he can come back, keep off the pounds and try and earn a shot.

If he makes it back down to 220-230, beats a few gatekeepers like Barrett, Gavern, Quezada and then steps into the top 20 with one or 2 wins, then I'd see no problem with Wlad offering him a shot at his Undisputed HW championship of the world.

That is of course if Vitali has yet relinquished it.

Solis is a Glass Jawed fat slob that embarrassed the sport and his people. He is the current version of Kirk Johnson.
