He was rather unlucky not to stop Braehmer in his only defeat and knocked out Nadjib Mohammedi in 2 rounds recently. :yikes Good fight.
Sukhotsky is a good fighter, and a hard puncher. I also recall him nearly knocking Juergen Brahmer out in their fight a couple of years ago. I wouldn't read too much into the Mohammedi demolition though, that guy's punch resistance is awful. It's a testament to Cleverly's power (That his fight with Nadjib lasted the distance) rather than his skills IMO. This is a decent fight.
Also Stieglitzs people trying to get a better ranking for Degale, paving the way for a world title fight it looks like.
Really good to see Afolabi getting another shot. He's more than a match for Huck and if he had a bit more ambition and took more risks in their first fight he could have had Huck out of there. War Ola!!!!! Good test for Cleverly too.
that won't matter, Stieglitz is losing to Kessler and then Kessler is looking at a unification fight.
Didnt Stieglitz/Kessler fall through so there looking for new opponents? DeGale fighting for a world title would be an absoloute pisstake but I suppose we all know who runs the WBO.
Very good fight for both of them. Sukhotshy's earned a shot and is a very good fighter. Cleverly needs to fight someone like him if he wants fights with Cloud, Shumenov etc. Campillo would also be a good fight for Cleverly. The first Huck vs Afolabi fight was close, but if it's in Germany again (it will be) then Afolabi needs to dominate or get a stoppage or he's got no chance.
