Mayweather isn't gonna get "pressured" into anything. This is all a pipe dream. And if Mayweather DID take the offer, it wouldn't be in December and he'd probably be cashing out. Meaning 50-60 mill guarantee.

I feel the same way. I think Canelo is too big, too strong, and too poised for Mayweather. He punches hard, works the body well, is explosive, and has solid boxing/counterpunching skills. He's also patient and composed, while a lot of guys who've fought Mayweather get a little wild/sloppy/overaggressive which gives Floyd his openings. Canelo won't do that. The one real question mark with Canelo is his stamina, and if he could be outworked, but doing that isn't Mayweather's game. This fight would be at a pace that suits Canelo, which is what he likes. Mayweather at his age at 154 also doesn't have nearly the legs to box and move around the ring like he once did, so he won't be able to stay away from Canelo the whole fight, nor will he be able to test his stamina.

I favor Canelo at any time after May 2013 (Mayweather gets older, he gets more experienced), but right now, he could still pull it off. I see a very close, possibly controversial fight if it happens in December of this year.

If Canelo were being put up to face Pac next, you would proclaim Canelo to be one of the most dangerous men in boxing history!

    I seriously doubt it.

Floyd will fight someone with Canelo as co-feature, more than likely.

The best blow Mosley landed in that entire fight was a headbutt. Also, Mosley lost every single round except the first, which he won by way of flicker jabs and outworking Alvarez. He landed almost nothing of any real value during the fight. Alvarez beat the crap out of him for 12 rounds.
