Are there any news on GG? Apparently he's deleted all his social media accounts. I hope he comes back maybe with Adam Booth in his corner. He just lost all his sharpness, and crisp in his jab. Also his power seems to be gone.
Last word was that he will take some time off and decide whether he wants to fight again or not. I think it was proposed that he could have a last go with Abraham for the WBO if it can be arranged.
Groves is gutted. DeGale is gutted. Froch is gutted. UK is gutted. I think he's fine for what he is. Let him have two super cupcake fights then a step up fight, and he'll be more than ready and worthy of another fight with a top 10 SMW in the first quarter of 2017.
Under Booth he seemed to be a sharp reflexive counter puncher. He had that one arm parry defense similar to David Haye and was very accurate and quick. Vs Jack to his credit he was more upright and traded often. He really tried to force Jack back and threw some real hard outside sweeping right hooks. Jack handled them very well. It was still a competitive fight and Groves made a concerted effort to hold his hands higher and return punches bank to his cheek. Its not all lost for Groves.
I think he can come back. People here underrated Jack and thought he would be easy work for Groves. Maybe Groves thought that as well. With that said I don't think this will be the end for him.
Here's some news on Groves. He is B level.Winning a few rounds and scoring a KD on Froch is the highlight of his career. Not as impressive considering he isn't the only one to do it. Give it up Brits. Groves doesn't have what it takes.
