There was nothing really bad about the article at all...people are definitely overreacting. It would be easy to be infinitely harsher.

 

Terry D - I'm really pleased you took the time to reply. I like that, it shows real class. My point about doing something criminal was certainly tongue in cheek and I don't think that resorting to that would cross any professional sportsmens mind.

I felt the emphasis on Gillick was needless due to the fact that his bout was very low in terms of importance in the big scheme of things and could have been covered with a couple of lines. But perhaps I was unaware of the level of interest in Martins fight throughout the UK boxing forums.

I felt sorry for Martin because i've been there and knows what its like to lose and it really breaks your heart so reading that following a loss would be like a sly one right in the balls.

Again to make this clear it was not my intention to personally insult you or persuade MTG to attack you (lol) I just disagreed with the way the report was written.

You havent visited here before Terry? You dont know wot you been missing. This forum kicks the arse off Boxrec, even if I do say so myself.

On boxrec, you get debate. In here, you get debate with an added edge. This place is like a Lions den compared to the other brit boxing forums. Theres no fannying about in here, the regulars here go for the jugular with their opinions everytime.

Boxrec brit forum is like a teddy bears picnic compared to this joint, as you have found out already by the look of things

There is a gym in Litherland that most that have turned pro work out, Robbie Butler trains a few of them, I could give you a list of who trains or has at some point trained there but this is about jenno and Gillick, and on the night Jenno would of been ready for anyone, he is a great sport and he spoke to martin after the fight.........

 

Dodson first turned pro with John Rice which Is the gym Rice trains fighters?

Yeah I heard of the Litherland place.

I found out Conteh did go to the Golden Gloves when It was In Dingle too before he went to Kirby.:deal

ive never said i was a good prospect for a start and i think you will find that i have been down at the barn in the past few month with rab,mostly during the day-it was rab who called my fight off with justin jones in stoke only 1 month or so ago.the reason i didnt train full time with rab is down to the fact he wouldnt be my cornerman because he was with alex morrison-thats all changed now and we had decided to get back together.but thanx for your input.
