Johnson broke his arm during his fight with Jim. What Mendoza is trying to insist is that the fight was scheduled for 20 rounds but was stopped after ten due to this injury - in affect, a TKO for Jim.

He also lists a session of sparring as a TKO loss for Johnson because it was cut short by Jack's manager after he was hurt.

Honestly, if Mendoza wasn't here i'd probably rate Johnson lower than anyone else on the forum, and I still find his bias disgusting.

I really waited 4 this fight and when i tried 2 find it's outcome i found nothing . only months later i discovered by accident that he fought Julio Gonzalez instead . Pity , especially when considering what johnson went on 2 achieve later . I find d claim that he had trouble with his visa or whatever very dubious .

As a matter of historical curiosity, how did the epic Mendoza-Mcvey feud start, anyway?

I remember some random things for some reason. One of the posts i can recall as clear as day, which i am pretty sure was before this site crashed, is a post by McVey where he basically started talking about what an excellent poster Mendoza was but how he thinks he gets a little bit overzealous and bias when discussing Jeffries which Mendoza thought was a shame since he was such a good poster.

I think he might have even repeated it a couple of times.

i dont think he shares the same feelings anymore.

Was there any warning of the impending crash? I'd hate for the wealth of resources on here to be lost to history.

How is putting forth facts or facts from other sources bias? I told you my opinion on this one many times. In fact I asked you repeatedly to contact he cyber boxing zone and ask why they said 20 rounds, and post the results here. If they replied to you, I never saw the result posted here. As I said before, wether it was scheduled for 10 or 20 rounds, I think the decision was rotten, and Jim Battling should have been declared the winner.

I doubt you would rate Johnson lower than Seamus and a few others here. You must realized by now, half the stuff I post on Johnson is there to get a comical rise out the short fused Mcvey just because he lies and makes up excuses about the man.
