next big heavyweight fight

    Over the last two months it seems that most top heavyweights have fought, WK, Peters, Chagaev, Valuev, Iggy etc. I'm wondering when the next big heavyweight clash will take place. I'm guessing Chagaev vs. Valuev in a few months.

    Vitali vs. Peter will be a big fight. I think the tentative plan is for July.

    WBC Eliminator Virchis - Gomez the next biggest HW fight I think.

    Well I wonder if Vitali can make it back with all the injuries, but if so, Vitali vs Peter would be good.

    There should be a Gomez-Virchis fight this fall and probably a Wlad-Thompson fight as well. Valuev-Chagaev II should not be far away either. We should also be looking forward to Haye´s debut - although it will probably not be a "big" fight in that sense.

    I've read it's going to be in September, but that's too long to wait.

    Right now very few of the BoxRec top 50 heavyweights have fights scheduled. There's at least twenty of those fifty who should be soon, however. Examples: Arreola, Kevin Johnson, Tua, Brewster, Brock, Briggs, Toney, Dimitrenko, Platov, Bidenko, Chambers, Rahman, Meehan, Golota, and Ahunyana.
