    prince,

please save us from your stupidity. why you are even considering such a stupid proposition is beyond me.

its like asking germany to train in brazil for the upcoming world cup just to be sure that they are tested within the countries jurisdiciton.

its like asking the all blacks to train in australia for match to be held in australia.

you are dumb as **** and you know it.

They send money back to the Philippines to help relatives. This means that the country's foreign reserves are bolstered which keep the economy afloat. The money being sent by Filipinos working overseas also give their relatives in the Philippines more purchasing power which helps local businesses and their workers.

    That's good of them.

At first it didn't look right to me (his response) after having said Pac would have to pay taxes in the PI's too after using the tax loophole to not pay taxes in the US.

I believe I understand now though.

Okey, I guess you're being honest on your question.

Lots of Filipinos as you probably know works outside their country for obvious reason that they have a hard time looking for one for a living in their own country. The government encourages this set-up since at they have nothing to offer in their own country and besides people working overseas send their hard earn money back to their country for their dependents. So the Philippine government eventually have more dollar reserves, being the dollar is the international currency for trade world wide (before it was gold).

It's more like in the Philippines the number one product they sell overseas are their own people generating revenue for the government coffers. And that's how Filipinos working overseas props up the Philippine economy.

that makes perfect sense, and I SHOULD have saw that. there's a saying: People see what they want to see. Me = guilty on that one. As far as our debate about Pac paying taxes, this obvious truth went right over my head.:p

    pac,

as a filipino will be taxed for income within and without/ under tax parlance philippine jurisdiction.

so any income derived by him will be taxed even if such income was derived from the US.

as to the 180 days, this probably is construed under american tax laws as more than enough period to justify "situs of taxation", in effect, the income being generated by him is brought about his stay in the US.

that is why instead of staying there during training, he trains in the country and just moves to the US before the fight.

Can you explain (provide evidence) the highlighted bit further? If what you said is true, then millions of Filipinos working overseas can be sued for tax evasion as they don't pay taxes in the Philippines.
