Thurman would be a super fight. Bradley, Maidana, Rios could be good. Chaves or Sadam Ali would be nice as well. He has many options. WW doesn't lack opposition by any means. I'd prefer: Brook vs Thurman Maidana vs Rios Sadam vs Chaves Bradley vs Khan
A fight with Thurman would be great. Both young and strong 147lbs'ers. An explosive 50/50 affair. The problem is Eddie will not be giving up on Khan that easily, and if Khan doesn't come to fruition the risk/reward ratio of a Thurman bout is probably not balanced enough to get the green light. A possible one for the future when each has a bigger following.
Beyond the Gloves has a good interview with Paulie where he states that he thinks Thurman, Brook and Khan are the top three WWs right now (better the Floyd and Manny). And that it'll be a while before those three have to fight eachother because right now there are still lots of other guys that they can fight before they have to meet eachother. So he doesn't think any of those fights will happen anytime soon. And any look at the top guys in and around the division and you can see Paulie is right. There are tons of guys that each of these dudes could make a couple million fighting while they build towards a fight between eachother. Timothy Bradley Juan Manuel Marquez Marcos Maidana Adrien Broner Danny Garcia Lamont Peterson Robert Guerrero Shawn Porter Devon Alexander Paul Malignaggi Sadam Ali Diego Chaves Brandon Rios Frankie Gavin Lucas Matthysse Jessie Vargas Chris Algieri Ruslan Provodnikov Mike Alvarado Mauricio Herera Andre Berto Anyways if you`re Eddie Hearn or Al Haymen you`ve got to be looking at the list above like and all you can eat buffet. And I`m sure there will be many more names that you can add to it by the time these guys are done whoopin`on this list.
