is anybody from w.a going to this tomorrow night? it looks to be a decent line up id be really keen to see pieter cronje and big daddy aswell as garlett but i happent to be getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, just wanted to know what peoples thoughts were on this green promoted card?
Its a decent local card with lots of talent on show. Perth does not have many of these cards, so when 1 does happen its good to see. Heard ticket sales have been very soft so thats never a good sign unfortunately.

Story obviously is Cronje is now at the Cruiserweight limit, he's been aiming at this recently and have seen him coming down in weight but even seeing him today was a shock, especially after I'd just had a medical myself that morning and found out I'm .6 Kg above him. Of course I challenged Pieter right there and then but of course he backed off before laughing (out of fear no doubt) that maybe we could meet in the future. Also Garlett vs Lerio should be a beauty, Lerio has visited Perth before facing Kenichi Yamaguchi for a WBO regional belt and gave the crowd plenty of entertainment (and Yamaguchi one of the biggest cuts ever) over 12 hard rounds. Very solid night of entertainment to christian the new basketball stadium near Challenge and with tix starting from $40 you'd be mad to miss it if you're in the neighborhood.
Danny Green Update by Brett Bonetti - Fight News dot com - April 14th 2011 Three months out from IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green’s world title fight with former light heavyweight world champion Antonio Tarver in Sydney, Green has moved his focus temporarily to his company Green Machine Boxing in Perth, Western Australia. Green is hosting “The Next Generation Fight Night” this on Friday at the WA State Basketball Centre to throw his support behind some of the new boxing talent in Western Australia. Green said that “Hopefully one day I will make a good trainer of sorts but I am not sure yet if that is what I would want to do, but if I can give some good advice to these guys and just pass on a bit of my experience, that’s what it’s all about, and hopefully they can learn from that.” After Friday night, “The Green Machine” with the help of his trainer Angelo Hyder will quickly turn his focus back to his upcoming fight with Tarver at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on July 20.
