PRESS RELEASE: With viable opponents for the Klitschko brothers dwindling down to former cruiserweight title holders and a fighter who lost two of his last three fights, there are few boxing insiders who don’t feel that there is a need for a jolt of adrenaline needed for the heavyweight division. And one heavyweight is now entering the race and calling out the Klitschko’s, with the power and record to excite fans and rekindle interest in a Klitschko title fight like no fighter since David Haye.

I doubt he could get by Cris Arreola or Seth Mitchell.

Solis is coming out from his rehab, would be interesting to see them fighting before the year ends. So far Rodriguez only have a padded record.Time to get in the ring with the big boys.

It is true that Solis will return to the ring in April, on the undercard of Gamboa-Rios?

I would like to see him actually earn it. The thing is Rodriguez probably would smash Arreola to pieces if given the chance.

looked at his record, and there's ZERO decent opponent on his resume

he needs to prove himself, maybe with Arreola, Adamek, Mitchell, or even Wilder

Has Rodriguez given up on fighting viable opponents? I mean with this he doesn't seem keen on earning a title shot...hes maybe hoping calling them out will miraculously grant him a title shot

Another guy trying to get a payday without putting in the work. Defeat one or twwo top 10 guys, then you can talk about fighting the Klitschkos.

Smarter fights for him, to see if he's got some substance before throwing him into the lion's den would possibly include names like Sexton, Firtha, Welliver, Fields, Sosnowski...Then maybe he could step all the way up to guys like the ones they're bitching about like Adamek and Chisora, and see how he performs against similar opposition. Because if you can't be bothered to test yourself against anyone as good as those you're slagging off, maybe you're just smoke and mirrors with your nice record on paper and ranking. :yep I would like to see him face Stiverne, also.
