Hook here, i posted this in teh general to get some representative responses from some ordinary folks. :hat

Old VK will be 41 in 3months time, And Wladdy has turned 36 in march. IMO they will both be retired in a couple of years time. SO who will be teh next Champ/alphabet soup beltholders?? Multi-choice poll - so you can vote for all teh prospects you reckon will be beltholders. I chose teh most suitable G's i could sticking to teh limit of 10 poll options, But this ain't no politics, so your votes counts, And teh choices are different.

Pottyvettkinn does NOT count as a current beltholder, he is a WBA Chump, NOT a WBA Champ. :yep

And i like "Taco-Tits" Arreola, But he did not quite make teh cut, But you can vote for him with your posts.

    Where's the poll?

    Best prospects imo:

UK. Fury, Chisora, Price, White & Joshua

    US. Jennings, Mitchell

    Europe: Glazkov, Gerber, Szpilka, Boystov

It'll probably be similar to the early 90s after Douglas took Mikes belts than lost them instantly and then they were split all up between Bowe, Holyfield, Moorer etc before Lewis surged and reunified for a while.

I'll go out on a limb to say that Helenius, Mitchell, Wach, Potvetkin, Chisora, Welliver, Rodriguez, and Arreola will all hold ABCs in the next 5 yrs.

I think when Wlad retires, Potvetkin will likely be "named" WBA champion or win it vs a guy like Fury.

Mitchell, Chisora and Arreola will fight over the IBF and WBO titles passing them a few times. Helenius, if healthy again, will play in the WBC and IBF picture.
Rodriguez, Welliver and Wach will probably hold the a title as well. Rodriguez is looking to fight a big fight this summer to move up in the WBC rankings, and if Vitali retires soon, Rodriguez could win the interim title against a guy like Stiverne.

What about EVT winning legend Odlanier Solis?

    Surely he deserves a mention

:lol:I don't think the most current version of Solis would beat Welliver or Stiverne. He'd be blasted otu against a guy like Rodriguez or Mitchell.:bbb

    ^

Rodriguez is a club fighter & Welliver (though a nice guy) is essentially a journeyman.

Solis is fighting Airich next month & will be back in contention soon.

I think Vitali retires within a yr not sure if any one out there can beat him, even on a bad night he dominated a young hungry chisora

Wlad looks as good as ever and i hope he carrys the aggression into his next fight

i think both retire with the a belt around their waist and then the titles will probably go to 4 guys unwilling to fight unless under the same promotional banner

in the short period between Vitali retiring and Wlad picking up the mantle the titles were fragmented among 4 guys and it took a guy with real draw power to get most of them unified

I dont think anybody out there in the current scheme has that draw power or clout to unify the division

titles may fragment to Chisora, Arreola, Solis and like a Helenius type

Jennings was very impressive but i dont think he is next maybe down the road

Young guys like Fury and wilder may be champs in 4 yrs

Povetkin without Atlas seems very ripe for the fall

Mitchell to me is likable but i think he is gonna get beat when he gets to the next level

Not a bad choice of opponent for Solis. Kindof like Boystovs choice of Wilson. Both guys are picking Clevel fighters(no offense Ding) who lept into the top 50 by winning fights against a hasbeen and a neverwill be.

Yeah, Arich and Wilsons wins will definitely put em on some warm up lists for sure.:nut

Smokin Bert Cooper is next....then Welliver will crush a Klitschko Sister. Screw their retirement. We have a guy who can beat their arses.
