Kinda rooting for Juanma. But haven't really seen him fight against quality opposition yet.

I think if were talking what say when Pacman's done which is what maybe 5 years away

Could be Juan Ma Lopez or if things go his way Juan Diaz.

Another name that wasnt even mentioned was Anthony Peterson who will be a Prime 28 years old by the time Pacman retires.

No. It will be a latino. Not because they are better but because the majority of fight fans are latinos. At the very least it will be a guy that beat a lot of latinos.

So how does that explain Floyd, and Pac being the last two no 1's?

Isnt that obvious? If they have beaten the best latino candidates then in order for the best latinos to look as good as possible they have to be p4p.

I am not saying that it is ompossible for an american to become p4p. Far from it. Latinos and americans are the two possible groups. Europeans - forget it. Only remote chance is a small european that beats the best latinos in a small division hoping that at the same time there is no possible american heavier fighter that is a candidate. But quite unlikely - no matter how good he is.

of my top picks i got juanma and gamboa. i'd like to pick juanma over gamboa, as he seems the better complete fighter, but if juanma ever moved up to face gamboa i could see him dropping gamboa, no doubt about it, but i don't know if juanma would be able to take gamboa's power. if he'd control gamboa from a distance and make him respect his power, juanma would win. before these 2 i really liked linares, he almost seemed to be the next great champ, but with injuries plaguing him, he's been out. hope he gets better and shows his true potential

Well I can't think of any Europeans who have had a case to be no1 recently, can you, and if so who?
You can't say they wont allow Euro's to be no1, when no Euro's have done enough to be no1. Which Euro, in your eyes, have they kept off no1 spot because he is European?
