Once the old guard of Pac and Mayweather retired and the likes of Marquez, Mosley, Cotto are war torn (some already are) who do you think can step up and dominate the P4P rankings?

Gamboa, Lopez, Donaire, Khan, Bradley, Lemieux, Korobov, ward?

I really like Donaire's chances at it if he consistently ups the level of his competition. He could have been much higher on the p4p list before now if he didn't **** the last three years away.

Bradley, Khan and although I hate to say it as his style repulses me

Ward lacks the excitement but his skills are top notch and the opposition@168 and 175 is great and can potentially make him a true P4P fighter if he remains undefeated against the likes of Dirrel, Froch, Bute, Pascal, Dawson and so on. He seems to be the best out of a pretty talented bunch so the prerequisite is definitely given.

I suspect Donaire will get there by default. Ward or Bute seem like the other likeliest two options to me.

It's time to accept that Chad has no killer instinct and cannot be a top fighter. He's a great athlete no doubt, but you also have to be a warrior at some point.

It's strange the momentum that Joyi has generated in people picking him against Gonzalez in the past year...given he's done exactly **** all...but I actually think it's a decent shout. I think Gonzalez might have a ***** in his armour where southpaws are concerned. Joyi is probably to easy to hit to actually pull it off, but if I was handling I would give him the bodyswerve for Calderon ideally, or Segura.

Moving too slow! Speed of career does affect this "p4p star derpa derp" perception, you know. It's why i'm not picking Golovkin...Or Lemieux.

Based on momentum right now id say one of these guys(or all of them?)

    Ward
    Khan
    Donaire
JML(yes i think he will whup Gamboa in a firefight)

Doesn't anyone else find it at least a bit sad that both likely future P4P kings (Ward and Donaire) work with Victor Conte? It's just a small information I can't get out of my head.

On the other hand if Floyd-Maravilla gets made the winner is obviously the P4P king or if Martinez keeps on fighting elite fights and Pac drops a place or two cause of opponent selection.
