I think that Andre Ward is the best boxer of the given choices. However, Nonito Donaire, Yuriokis Gamboa, Adrien Broner, Abner Mares, Guillremo Rigondeaux, & Brandon Rios, could in theory fight each other. If one of them emerges as the best than he will be the #1 p4p.

He will have to do more than struggle to a narrow points win over Raymund Beltran if he's gonna be a future p4p king. I would personally like to see him in a 4 man tourney for undefeated prospects- Bogere, Gesta, Ramos Jr and Darnley Perez

Broner will do good until he hits 147 when he has no size advantage over people, Ortiz n Berto would eat him up

Wheels might come off before that, at lightweight I could imagine Miguel Vazquez and Richard Abril giving him all sorts of trouble and junior welterweight I'd favour several fighter over him including Amir Khan (a storm is coming), Lucas Matthysee, and Juan Manuel Marquez

In terms of ability, the best in the world are Pacquiao, Mayweather and Marquez. They have proved this.

I believe Andre Ward is the natural, long-term successor to these guys.

But right now, Miguel Cotto, Wladimir Klitschko and Sergio Martinez are the group immediately behind Pac, Floyd and JMM.

I don't think Donaire is regularly beating top comp impressively enough to be in that group. Canelo hasn't beaten enough top 10 guys to even be considered, nor has Gamboa. Timothy Bradley just ain't that good, ability-wise. Chad Dawson is a p4p calibre fighter, lower end of the top 10.
