Once Dawson beats Ward, revenges Pascal, and cleans up Cloud. he'll be P4P king.

Nobody said he was pound for pound number 3,the question wasn't who do you think is p4p #3, even his fanboys aren't saying he's p4p#3. Lets say for example, Mayweather and Pacquiao both retire 3 years from now and one of, or both of them are still at the top when they retire.

By that point you will have Sergio Martinez will be 40 years old.
Juan Manuel Marquez will will be 41. Wlad 39. Vitali 43. So chances are they will ahve retired too.

Now say in that 3 years Broner dominates lightweight and junior welterweight and has just gone upto welterweight, he has wins over Gamboa, Khan, Juan Ma, Danny Garcia, Brandon Rios....then he would probably be pound for pound at the top.

Read the original post. The question is not "Who is currently pound for pound number 3 in your opinion"

I love Gamboa and I do believe Ward is the best out there b'sides Floyd and Manny but it took just one fight to hit my senses. Adrien Broner is a problem for others to solve, he himself is already on the rise and I don't see how he can be stopped.

I'd have Ward at number 1 just now.

If you really think that that Cotto has any chance at all of being pound for pound number 1 when both Pacquiao and Mayweather are out of the picture then you

    Number 1, he's 31.
Number 2 hes an old 31 because of all the wars he's been in.
Number 3 hes not top 10 even now
Number 4 there are younger guys in the top 10 with more upside- Ward, Dawson, Donaire

But by the time May and Pac are gone, he might have done ****. Someone earlier said Gary Russell Jr who has done less than Broner

Ward. he got the skills and the res to be the man rite now.

**** Pac n May. May ain't done **** in yrs, and Bradley was Pac's first big win since Cotto. Neither of em deserves to be called the best fighter in the world anymore.
