It's not too long until the next Prizefighter (Heavyweights - 20th June). I know we've discussed it previously on here, but do we have any confirmed names yet? :think
No, they're leaving it a bit late aren't they? I can only assume they're struggling to find fighters to compete. Chris P Bacon, John McDermott, Albert Sosnowski all strongly rumoured though.
Cheers for that mate, agree that perhaps they are strugling with decent names........ Not filled with much hope for it, just can't think who else is available! To be honest with you the best bit for me at the moment is that it's on a Wednesday, love a bit of midweek boxing!
Sadly, he's also a **** boxer who's 42 years old and has had only 2 licensed fights in the past 11 years.
I had completely forgotten the rather memorable name but just checked him out on boxrec. He took Gary Delaney 10 rounds which is decent but then walked away. If he does compete it will be worse than when they tried to dig up Gary Holden atsch
They tried digging him up twice, once for the Audley Prizefighter and once for the Skelton/Sprott one, I never quite understood their obsession with him. Not that it mattered as the Board rejected him both times.
He had a 4 rounder before the first attempt and he was so bad that the BBBoC laughed at him He was **** when he was good so **** knows why they kept trying.
Apart from the Derry Matthews/Choi one, they have all been shite. The novelty has blinded people to that though. Now we've had so many people are finally seeing them for what they are.
