Next unified champion

    It's getting harder to do these days but when do you think we'll see the next unified champion of all the major belts and who will it be?

    Kessler or Mijares are probably favourites at the moment I would say.

    Wtf why no mention of Campbell, he holds 3 of the 4 and intends to hold them all for as long as possible.

    Hopkins was a unified champion at 40
    Campbell is only 1 fight away from total unification and besides
    Campbell started late and boxing age is different to physical age

    I hope so too, and if does loses, hopefully its to someone who intends to keep all the belts and not to someone who drops them right away.

    Wlad could do it. Vitaly could do it. One of them just has to retire for it to happen.
    Or they can say Klitscho unified ;-) just need Valuev one of them.

    i dont think Campbell can beat Pacman....so i doubt he'll unify the division

    and with that said i'll say Pac would be the next 1 to unify a division

    Difference is, the fight he needs to unify is Manny Pacquiao. That's as difficult as it gets.

    I will go with Mijares. He should comfortably outbox Darchinyan and pick up the IBF, and then I would pick him to beat Montiel, a match-up which should happen, and pick up the WBO to go with his WBC/WBA belts.
