So instead of fighting Russel in Featherweight why not follow Salido up to Super Feather and get a rematch for that vacant WBO belt (Garcia is moving up to Lightweight). I'm sure he learnt his lesson, plus he really shouldn't leave it like that. After two fights he now knows pro boxing, knows Salido real well and will deliver this time. Otherwise what? Figthing Russel is not a good fight for either (plus nobody cares), and going after another belt in feather does not mean as much as getting a rematch. Of course Salido will ask for a whole bunch of money, but if you want to become a legend you have to pay your dues. After beating Salido at 130, he can go back to 126 with confidence and become a two weight champ in only 4 fights... I wish I was his promoter...

Salido has done pretty well in rematches so there's no guarantee that Lomachenko would win...especially a rematch at a higher weight class where his power might not translate and Salido would be even stronger. I would advise to look elsewhere and forget this one. Salido, on the other hand, should be looking to get a big money fight with Garcia.
